Rotmilan (Red Kite) is our interpretation of the classic Munich Dunkel, with a lightly smoked twist.

Red kite; the red kite

We have been so looking forward to getting this collaboration between us and Slowburn Brewing Co-Op off the ground!

Rotmilan is our interpretation of the classic Munich Dunkel, with a light smoky twist. A beer adorned in borrowed feathers, because despite its full-bodied and dark color, the beer is far from heavy.

Instead, you get a Lager with light notes of freshly toasted bread from Munich malt, with an elegant veil of smoked barley malt. The noble hops shine through, making the taste of Rotmilan just as elegant, beautiful, and easy-drinking as a red kite hovering in the summer sun. Prost!

Ingredients

Water, barley malt, hops, yeast.
Energy per 100 ml: 192 kJ/46 kcal. Store in a cool, dark place.

Malt, Hops & Yeast

Malt:Munich, Pilsner, Chit, Bestmalz Munich 3, Weyermann Munich, Carafa Special 3, smoked barley.
Hops:Tettenang, Hallertau Tradition.
Yeast:Lager.

Aroma

Toasted bread and smoked malt.
