In collaboration with Danehonning Bee Farm, we have created our very own magic potion; a mead brewed with Fanø heather honey and aged in Vermouth barrels for 12 months.

Ingredients

Water, heather honey, yeast.
Energy per 100 ml: 531 kJ/127 kcal.

The honey

The heather honey comes from the bees' pollination of the heather on Fanø in August and September, which produces a tasty dark honey with an intense bittersweet, rich, and aromatic taste of autumn.

Danehonning Bee Farm

For 5 generations, Danehonning Bifarm has kept bees by the Wadden Sea. The bees are mainly located in the Wadden Sea National Park's protected areas, along the Jutland west coast and Fanø, where the use of pesticides is prohibited. Read more at www.facebook.com/Danehonning
