Værftet Märzen is a lovely Märzen, brewed for our friends at Værftet Fanø.

One of the locals

Since the beginning, we have collaborated with one of Denmark's best breweries: Fanø Bryghus. Together, we have brewed a Märzen, a lager-style beer that is now Værftet’s very own signature beer.

With a restrained bitterness and a smooth finish, we have a caramel-colored beer with a clean and toasty malt flavor that cries out for another glass!

Enjoy it at Værftet, on the slipways, at Elses Gab, or in the courtyard. Alone or in company, at any time.

Værftet is named after Søren Abrahamsen's shipyard, which was located on the site years ago. Here, they built large sailing ships that flew the flag all over the world in the late 1800s.

Ingredients

Water, barley malt, hops, yeast.

Malt, Hops & Yeast

Malt: Munich Malt, Melanoidin, Cara Clair, Carafa Special III.
Hops: Huell Melon, Saaz.
Yeast: Lager.

Aroma

A clean taste of roasted malt, with restrained bitterness and a smooth finish.
