From Sønderho to Brazil

The schooner Nefert was built in Sønderho and met its end in 1887, when the ship was wrecked off the coast of Rio Grande do Sul, in the southernmost part of Brazil.

In honor of Nefert, we have brewed this blend of barrel-aged stouts from whisky casks. A full-bodied beer with notes of roasted malt and chocolate, which balances the smoky flavor of the whisky casks.

Ingredients

Water, barley malt, oats, hops, yeast, lactose, coffee, dextrose.
Energy per 100 ml: 531 kJ/127 kcal. Store in a dark and cool place.

Malt & Hops

Malt:Pale Ale, Dark Crystal, Abbey, Carafa Special III, Munich, chocolate malt and roasted barley.

Brewed with:Oats, lactose, coffee, dextrose.

Hops:Bittering.

Aroma

Notes of roasted malt and chocolate, which balance the smoky flavor of the whiskey barrels.
