End of an era

Prinz Valdemar, built in 1891, was one of the last great ships of the sailing era and was registered in Nordby. The ship sank at the mouth of Miami harbor, just days before it was to be put into use as a floating hotel during the Depression in 1926.

We pay tribute to Prinz Valdemar with a blend of selected stouts from rum and whiskey barrels, aged on a mixture of cocoa nibs, vanilla, and coconut, with a rich, deep, and sweet chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

Water, barley malt, oats, hops, yeast, lactose, cocoa nibs, vanilla, coconut flakes.
Energy per 100 ml: 540 kJ/129 kcal. Store in a dark and cool place.

Malt & Hops

Malt:Pale Ale, Munich, Carafa Special III, Cara Cafe, chocolate malt, roasted and smoked barley.

Brewed with:Oats, lactose and Muscovado sugar.

Hops:Bittering.

Aroma

Notes of vanilla and coconut, with a rich, deep, and sweet chocolate flavor.
