A re-accepted challenge

After being challenged on the podcast Et Øldigt Land, we brewed Défi Accepté; a golden "Super Saison" packed with roasted green peppercorns and fresh lemon, in a collaboration with Kissmeyer and Det Lille Bryggeri.

This special edition of our Défi Accepté has been aged in a blend of Chardonnay and Calvados barrels for just over a year. The result is a smooth beer, bursting with notes of fresh green apples, oak, and sweet vanilla.

Ingredients

Water, barley malt, wheat malt, oats, lemon, green peppercorns, hops, yeast.
Energy per 100 ml: 305 kJ/73 kcal. Store in a cool, dark place.

Malt, Hops & Yeast

Malt: Pilsner, Cara Blond, Pale Wheat and acidulated malt.
Hops:Bittering.
Brewed with: Oats, lemon and green peppercorns.
Yeast:Saison, Kveik.

Aroma

Citrus, peppercorns, green apples, oak barrels, and vanilla.
