1741 is brewed to celebrate the independence of the people of Fanø, when Denmark's King Christian VI purchased the island from the Riberhus Ladegård crown estate on July 10, 1741.

A warm-fermented Bière de Garde, brewed with lemongrass and rose hips, with a dominant aroma of fresh lemon and melon, and a sweet taste of cherry, citrus fruits, caramel, and a touch of Belgian funk.
